Drink Safe, Stay Safe during the World Cup season
The Safer Birmingham Partnership launched its World Cup campaign on the 7th June 2010.
The campaign is aimed at encouraging individuals to drink sensibly and stay safe during the World Cup season, whether watching England matches at home with friends or in local pubs/bars.
It supports the Safer Birmingham Partnership’s key aim of making Birmingham a place where people can be safe and feel safe.
The Partnership is working in conjunction with the Police and pubs/bars in local communities to send out a clear message that alcohol related violence and disorder will not be tolerated and that action will be taken.
Pubs and bars in across Birmingham will be displaying posters in both the men’s and women’s toilets and on beermats to show their support for the campaign.
